CTEE (Cultural, Technological, Educational Exchange)
"This was intended, I imagine, as justification for the overseas projects students wanted to develop at that time, however CTEE Students have taken things in a great many directions since. All student developed projects intend to provide service-learning opportunities for West Ottawans and others. Events like WO-Stock fit that bill for CTEE volunteers, but additionally provides opportunity for students from around our area to perform on a "professional" stage. The recent addition of the CTEE Grand Prix by IB students (CAS Project) is a more recent example of the willingness of the CTEE to sponsor, and members to be involved in any service oriented activity students consider worthy. CTEE has been involved in a number of charitable efforts over the years, again with intention to provide service opportunity to our students, and service to our community. Overseas activities allow our students to take the expression "think globally, act locally" to task by allowing our students the opportunity to actually act globally. Though fewer than 60 students have made the sojourn to Cameroon, all members are involved in the overseas projects." - Michael Jaeger
